Valentine’s Day just passed, a time when love is celebrated in many ways. We see expressions of Eros (romantic love), Phileo (brotherly love), Storge (familial love), and Agape (unconditional love). While human love is beautiful, it is often imperfect. But God's love, Agape love, is perfect, unwavering, and eternal.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." – Romans 5:8
This love isn't based on feelings or circumstances. It’s a love that sacrifices, forgives, and pursues us even when we feel unworthy. It is deeper than romance, stronger than friendship, and more enduring than family ties. It is the love that sent Jesus to the cross
the greatest act of love the world has ever known.
As we move beyond Valentine’s Day, let’s not limit love to one day of the year. Instead, let’s live in God’s love daily, showing kindness, grace, and compassion to others. After all, Jesus commands us:
"Love one another as I have loved you." – John 13:34
No matter where you are in life, God’s love is constant. It never fades, never fails, and never ends. Let His love fill your heart today and every day. ❤️
