“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Once the heart has chosen to trust God, the journey often leads us into seasons where clarity is limited. This is where trust is tested. Faith requires movement without full visibility. Walking by faith means continuing forward even when the path ahead feels unfamiliar or incomplete.
We are naturally wired to want answers before action. We want to see the full picture, understand the timing, and know how things will unfold. But faith does not operate on sight. It operates on obedience. Trusting God when you cannot see the way requires believing that He is guiding you even when the road feels dim.
There are moments when God intentionally withholds details, not to confuse us, but to deepen our dependence on Him. If we had all the answers, we would rely on information rather than intimacy. Faith grows when we learn to follow God’s voice without demanding constant reassurance.
This kind of trust stretches us. It challenges our comfort with certainty and invites us into a deeper relationship with God. Walking by faith means trusting that God is working even when progress feels slow and direction feels unclear.
Trusting God when you cannot see the way is not passive. It is active faith. It is choosing obedience over fear and surrender over control. It is believing that God’s guidance does not depend on our ability to see but on His ability to lead.
